Coastal Dental, Inc. is a licensed discount dental company in California, approved by the Department of Managed Health Care. Why is that important? Because the State of California has the strongest patient's rights laws in the nation, and dental plans that are licensed within California must adhere to those standards. We have gone through this rigorous licensure process, providing you and your clients a significant value added proposition to the discount dental market.
At Coastal Dental we are committed to business excellence, and when you partner with us, together we will provide your clients with a solution to meet their benefit needs. We offer you and your client’s affordable dental care. There are no group size limitations and employer participation is not required. Our discount plan is affordable, flexible, easy to manage, and allows businesses to save on their bottom line while offering a dental plan to their employees.
Employees will be required to enroll in plan for a period of one year (unless employee is no longer employed by group). This will prevent employee from enrolling and utilizing plan for several months then dropping plan.
Voluntary Option
Existing and new employees can enroll with no minimum enrollment requirements. Employer is not required to contribute towards premiums but is required to payroll deduct premiums. Contributory Option
Existing and new employees can enroll with no minimum enrollment requirements. Employer is required to contribute towards premiums and will payroll deduct premiums. Combination Option
This requires employer to pay most, if not all, the monthly premium for the employee. This option generally requires a minimum of (75%) participation.
